The Enhanced Air Sensor Guidebook

The EPA's Enhanced Air Sensor Guidebook is now available! A great resource for groups looking to develop air quality monitoring networks using air sensors, the guidebook details all aspects needed to set up and maintain air sensors that meet project objectives. TD Environmental Services co-authored this expanded Air Sensor Guidebook.

Highlights of the Enhanced Guidebook include a section that goes in-depth on the foundational concepts of air quality - the science, the technology, and the terminology - setting up the reader to understand better what kind of data they need and how they can achieve that. Other sections include details on selecting the best equipment for your project, setting up and managing the air monitoring network, and interpreting and acting on the data.

Five Steps Recommended for Planning Air Monitoring Projects Using Air Sensors (Source: EPA)

One of our team's favorite (and we think most useful!) graphics in the Enhanced Guidebook details the five steps we recommend for planning an air sensor monitoring network. This five-step model is the same that TD Environmental uses with their partners and clients when developing networks all over the world.
